i just put an aftermarket stereo in this weekend. 5.25" speakers went into the doors. i had to drill new holes for the screws, since the factory ones didn't all line up. now if your gonna amp these speakers your gonna need to use the factory wires running to that speaker just clip the white adapter piece off. yellow wire w/ black stripe is negative, just fyi. and tap into those same wires on the harness by the deck and run that wire to your amp. i went through a crossover doing that it sound sounds amazing!! highly recrommend mb quarts . i also put 5.25" in the rear but had to make my own templates for better fitment. i don't remember mounting depth up front but its close to 3-4" you've got alot of room in there.

Everyone else on this site used 6.5" speakers. They are ovesized 6.5" speakers actually. More like 6.75". Layinlo's thread in this section is quite informative. 5.25" speakers suck pretty bad.
