New head unit, lost bass, did i miss something?
You should not have your HPF on, nor your LPF. It should be pass thru, which means you are letting the entire range of frequencies to pass thru to all of your speakers.
In an ideal system, you would want the HPF on at the radio and the LPF at the sub. This will keep the lows from getting to your mids and highs and keep the bass just coming from you sub. Which is what you want.
But for now you will just have to keep your system set up as "pass thru" or "full-range"
Next time, get an Eclipse radio.....

I have the clarion Max675DVD (or whatever, the touchscreen 7") and factory speakers with a 500/1v2 and 10w7, and I just lost all bass today!! Everything looks hooked up, my amp powers and the woofer moves a little. Odd, theres no way I blew anything. I was working behind the dash, mabye I forgot to hook up the non-fader cable.... arg I should check my settings first, cause the speaker does move. Thanks for the advice guys
