subwoofer system while having carbon fiber trunk?

Hey guys i have an 03 viii and i have a carbon fiber trunk, im considering purchasing just a single 12 inch sub and having around 300-500 rms mono amp going to it. Would having a system sound terrible because of the cf, will it crack the carbon fiber or cause any other damage to the trunk??????

I just dont want to end up with my trunk rattling beyond belief or having my 700.00 trunk cracking.. thanks guys

I dont think you would have any problem... Its not like you are going to have 8,000 watts and 10 subs.

Yeah, you won't have an issue with cracking unless you're going for the title as loudest car.

It shouldn't rattle too much, but your license plate with def. Mine rattled alot even with the stock exhaust at a cold idle.

You won't have problems, if you don't like the way it sounds, or if it rattles too much, then lower the volume! haha

It's good to go. Bump and enjoy your music!

CF trunk and a monster (10w7) sub. I have no issues at all, and my plate frame is pretty neat and doesnt rattle. The only places I get some rattle (with no dynomat or anything) is the plastic cover over the factory gauges (tach speed ect). I also get a little but from the lower Orbital piece, but thats because one side doesnt have a factory clip. (its been on order forever..)

Carbon fiber is stronger than steel so you are fine.
