Wouldn't the force from the water push the window in? The glass is still easy to shatter, it just stays in a sheet. You just need the right tool. You can buy them at almost any auto parts store.

There are a Number of Manfuacturers

One is ACE Security Laminates:

One thing to keep in mind is that while certain films are *engineered* to perform a safety and security film, most premium films (even window tint films) will perform a similar purpose.

The ACE videos are pretty impressive, especially against the molotov.

Another thing to keep in mind is that the security films are *generally* untinted (not sure if you care) or if they are tinted, minimally so.

Another thing to keep in mind is that security films generally have a metallic content, which can adversely affect cell phone, radio, GPS, and radar detector performance.

If you live in an area with a high occurrence of non-firearm car jacking, breakins, etc. it may make sense but there seem to be some pretty high-cost tradeoffs.

Personally, I just tinted the car darker with a high-quality 3M film (see research on window tints here: https://www.evolutionm.net/forums/sh...highlight=tint)

As with any window film, professional installation is *HIGHLY* recommended, particularly if you can find an installer who uses a plotter (computer-driven) cutting machine.
