Question about Viper Alarm/Remote Start and Blitz Turbo Timer??

Ok I already installed my Viper 5900 in an 03 Evo VIII about 2 days ago and I have a Blitz Turbo Timer also installed in the car too. I did the clutch bypass with a relay and wired the neutral safety wire to the parking brake and it works great and all. However, I had to change the setting from active arming to passive arming because the alarm was triggered after about 20 seconds of the car remaining on because of the Blitz turbo timer. I even tried to change the armed while running to ON and it still triggered the alarm. I am wondering if there is anyway to make it so I can arm my alarm with the car still running on the Blitz Turbo Timer??? I have heard of using a relay but Directechs has nothing on how to do this. Any help would be great. Thanks.

NVM I figured it out, if anyone is wondering how to do it, it does require a relay but isnt all that hard. PM if you want to know how it is done.

Could you post that up here in the forum to tell how to do this? I have a viper alarm also and am considering getting a turbo timer. Obviously I would have the same problem that your having. Thanks if you can, or PM them to me

It has been a while since I have installed a turbo timer and viper alarm. I do not remember the exact details but I remember at least 2 relays are required - I think one on the IGN and one on shock sensor - to trick the alarm so that you can lock the doors and the shock sensor such that it won't set off the alarm due to vibrations.

Honestly I would just get a viper alarm that's got a remote start built-in. Most of them has a bulit-in "Valet Take-Over" mode - which is exactly like what a turbo timer does.

i have the viper 5701, and the BTT. I just let the time run down and lock it as i walk away, but yes i have the same issue im just to lazy to add relays to fix it or to take out the BTT and just use the TT function in the viper alarms, which the 5900, 791, 5701, and 5901 all have.
