I was feeding it about 300 rms. Loudness was fine, but it just performed poorly....extension wasn't good down into the sub 50hz range and I like the sub to handle as much of the low bass as possible. It just wasn't very musical compared to conventional subs I've used and it really lost steam below 50hz. Unfortunately I wasn't running a seperate EQ at the time so it was extremely difficult to compensate for the loss down low and was never happy with it. I know a lot of the experience was probably due to improper tuning, but just the simple fact that a conventional sub in a generic box sounded slightly more musical compared to the shallow sub in a custom box really turned me off to shallow subs in most applications.

RF subs aren't anything to brag about. U want great low end that can get loud and nasty? Fi Audio, DD Audio, AudioPulse (formerly TC Sounds), DC Sounds, and many other reputable brands that are soooooooo much more than these common brands. Don't get me wrong RF makes awesome amps and processors, but thetre are also more brands out there that don't get the recognition they should.

For ur enjoyment......

I wholeheartedly agree on TC Sounds....they make amazing subs. I have an SVS home sub that utilizes 2 TC Sounds 12's with a 900 watt amp.....lots of impact for home theater and it is nearly flat from 15hz to 100hz.

They USED to make awesome amps and processors. I guess the 360s are pretty cool.
