So I've had my car for a little over a year now and the other day I noticed that if you unlock the doors with the keyless and don't open them, after 30 seconds the car relocks itself. There's been a few times over the last few months where I'd find the car locked even though I knew I had unlocked it, but I'd just thought the car/remote had issues.

Learn something new everyday I guess.

 

I noticed that too a couple days ago. Met up with my friends in a parking lot and I had the keyfob in my pocket with the car unlocked. All of a sudden i heard beep then the lights flashed and it locked. My car is in my garage at night and I leave the keys in the cup holder and it doesn't lock (thank god lol). Must have a chip or something.

 

My horn doesn't beep and the lights don't flash, it just relocks. I don't remember it ever doing this before a month or so ago. The only time it relocks is if you don't open the door within 30 seconds (I actually timed it). I'm almost positive that I've unlocked it and came out to it longer than 30 seconds and it wasn't locked. It's just kinda weird. I surprised it was something I didn't notice long before a month ago.
