I got a custom box made for my Evo Ix

And im wondering what is a good 12" subwoofer that sounds clean, not TOO LOUD just a clean sound i dont need the whole world around me to hear it and too the point where all i hear is Bass with no music.
And also that isnt TOO HEAVY? i understand there ALL heavy but i kno there some that weigh more then others.

if you guys can please help me out it will be appreciated. Thank you

i've really never used eclipse or anything about there subwoofers to tell you the truth but im sure there are reviews out there. If i had to reccommend something i would say JL Audio because there sound quality is amazing. Pioneer is good to its just your preference and how much you want to spend

My eclipse door speakers had really good clarity and they're subs were just as good. Not to boomy, but with a clean sound. It also depends on what kind of box you have and how it's ported and tuned. I'd look at sealed boxes for what you want.

To be honest I had a bad experience with the old Kicker Comps. They just couldn't handle a lot of power. I had an Audiobahn and it was really good, but really boomy and loud.

for subs, I highly recommend Fosgate. I have had the same 15" Power Punch in my Evo now, that I had in the last 2 cars I have had! Had the set up pumping for like 9 years now. Same fosgate amp as well! no probs the entire time!

There's a big difference between Rockford 9 years ago and Rockford today.

RF 9 years ago > RF today
