Alarm with turbo timer??

So I have heard that there are alarm systems out that that have a built in turbo timer and can be used on standard trans. I think Viper may be one. Does anyone know which companys have these features? And if anyone uses it, how well does it work?

Compustar and the new Viper/deis can be used with Manuals. Most, if not all, remote starts have a turbo timer of some sort.

Has anyone used these systems with the remote start? The thought of a remote start on a standard worrys me but I like to warm the car up for a few minute before I drive it and I dont always give myself that time.

Python/Clifford/Viper can have remote start installed and some have a turbo timer built in as well. Just get used to parking your car in neutral.

All RS that work with manuals come with a sequence that you have to do so the alarm knows the car is in neutral (unless you do a custom Neutral Safety switch). If that doesn't bother you, or you always park your car in neutral, then do it. If you've never had RS before, you don't know what you're missing.

I have an AUDIOVOX with a built in turbo timer, it's worked great, just hit two buttons before pulling the key out and it's set. You can also cancel it if you don't need it to run the full time. I think it has a 1 mile radius, but I highly doubt it'll work that far. Never setup the remote start...a friend of mine left his in gear and went under a truck when he tried starting his 240

I have a Viper with my turbo timer. Just get used to leaving it in neutral and lock the doors before you get out and you should be good to go.
