Dual din people

Guys that run dual din with the OEM dual din jdm piece. what radio brackets do you use?

i tried using my stock radio brakects on my dvd and it sits the dvd way to high to get the cover on. i tried to modify them but i cant really get the unit straight

thoughts ideas? thanks

i ued the stock brackets and unly used one screw not two.

as in one where it mounts on the dash itself. also any pics? another thing i have noticed is my deck isnt flush with the cover,. bottom sticks out farther than the top

looks like orbital even showed to have to modify the stock brackets.. what a pain

you can chek this out if you want... this guys made my double din with custom fabrication, and it wasn't as expensive as I thought!!... anyways just chek my mods out...

doesnt look to bad but the jdm upper piece is only like 65 bucks and its oem and matches the dash

you can get the piece top jdm grey bezel from japanparts.com , its awesome I got mine, even though I havent had time to install it... that and get the oem radio relocation kit , to diy... looks real easy to do, probably gonna do it in the next two weeks, will upload pics and tips if i do!!

thing is using factory brackets it does not line up with the jdm bezel. you have to redrill it to get it to fit right

I used the stock brackets and just ground out the stereo body mount holes. Works perfect.
