So I'm a complete noob when it comes to Evos. I traded my '07 Cobalt SS for a '03 Evo VIII.

Now I have seen a few different types of tails, but I'm not sure if I have ever seen my taillights on another Evo. Did a search and came up empty handed... Sorry if I'm been too noobish. haha..

 

Its been a while since I have seen my stock tailights....but I would say yes, those are stockers.

 

Which tails do people usually upgrade to? The JDM ones?

They either do the evo VII tails, JDM, or Evo IX

 

You can also paint the housing or tint them

I had the housing painted to match the gray. Also had the lens colors changed a little. I think EvoDave on here did it, but that was almost two years ago so can't remember.

Have Evodave paint them! Mine started life as what yours look like and ended up like this!

 

Yea I'm sure this question belongs in the Evo Advanced section. All you had to do is search for '03 - '05 evo on yahoo or something and you would have seen that these are stock tails.
