I posted these in the ECUFlash forum, since that's usually where I am, but I figured I would add them here as well, since it's pertinent to this thread, since I used the same LCD that was mentioned in this thread.

I took two videos with my phone...first one is at night, so it's hard to see. Second one I did real quick during the day so that you can see better. I am going to redo the HVAC relocation with an extra bezel that I have (I used an old broken bezel for a test run), but for now, it's fine.

During the day

BTW: That keyboard is a separate attachment on a normal PS3 controller. Total they'll cost you about 100 to buy both.

I'm in the process of building a similar setup for my X, though it should be identical for previous models with a dd kit.

Parts list I've come up with so far:
$250 - Double-Din 7" LCD 1024x768
$180 - ZOTAC IONITX-F-E Intel Atom 330 (mini ITX motherboard, atom proc, HD video, hdmi out, wifi)
$60 - VoomPC-2 mini ITX Enclosure
$80 - M2-ATX PS
$125 - Centrafuse NA Software (w/ GPS)
$37 - Joycon Adapter (steering wheel controls)
$50 - Scosche MI3019b (dd dash kit for evo X)
$35 - BU-353 Weather-proof GPS Receiver (for gps/nav)
$8 - Bluetooth USB Module (bluetooth stuff)
Some cheap ram and a cheap 300gb 2.5" Hard-drive

Estimated $800-$900

On screen selection I'm stuck. The screen is a 7" LCD with Double-Din bracket for $250 (http://store.mp3car.com/Preassembled..._p/mon-067.htm) but the screen isn't centered so I'm not sure.

Downside is at that price you can get a nice deck with built-in nav as well..

^double sided tape and zip ties?

they are pretty light and can be mounted on the jdm double din bezel.

they also have to be taken apart from the liliput plastic frames...
