I am actually thinking about doing this around summer time. I am also considering the use of OE style harness plugs and making the engine harness removable with the engine without having to unplug everything. Would make engine removal an easy affair, not to mention the ability to rebundle the harness in the cleanest way possible. Actually have some Subaru Engine/Body harness connectors I am thinking about using.

Deutsch electrical connectors are your friend. I use those on everything from my car, my truck, equipment at work... by far the best all weather connections avaliable. They are expensive for the pins, crimping tools and connector housings but worth every penny. I wish I had taken pics of my tuck, I was talking to chaotichoax about it when I was in the process. Everything officially works as I just started the car and used everything a few days ago, but it was a major PITA

i did my mini tuck about 3 weeks ago around the manifold/ tb area.. it was while i was installing the 2 pieces.. only wires i really had to ADD to were the 4 injectors wires (2 wires each injector) map harness (3wires) and the coil (3 wires) everything else was tucked under the manifold nicely and out of the way from any visible parts and hot surfaces. also went ahead and did the EGR delete and got rid of 50% of that mess back there. gonna work my way around to the fuse box and on top of tranny area eventually.. ill take pics of what i have so far nothing special but looks alot cleaner than BEFORE

The real key to a clean bay is getting the Evo RS brake system ( non ABS ). I plan on doing this in the summer time.

I was gonna re locate my battery to the trunk, but that open space looks odd in the Evo bay.
