HKS Boost Guage i dont understand....

HKS Boost Guage i dont understand....

First off i think i put this in the right spot...this guage is weird, it starts at 600hg (Vaccum) or something then hits 0 then starts in .5 increments up to 2.0? what kinda units is that measuring? Thanks

My guess is its in (bar). Take ~14.7 x (bar) = psi
ie 1bar = 14.7psi

My MR has a stock Bar gauge. I will switch to psi eventually, but at least it can be used to see if you're getting consistent boost.

yea thats true, ill prob change it eventually. Idk its a real nice HKS unit, and lights up the same color as the dash lights

Look into the defi racer boost gauges. They come in the exact same color as the stock evo dash lights and have a dimmer wire to dim with your clock. They match the evos interior dramatically, let me know if you want to see a pic of it installed. http://www.importpartspro.com/deredraboga.html

well, you are driving a Japanese car, and HKS is a Japanese, so i guess you play buy there rules to looks JDM mad tyte!!!! 4 bars or bust hahaha!!! i have a couple boost gauges ill trade you for the hks if you really hate it... im even close im in Alabama

I have the same Gauge ... Very Happy with it ... ur good in Math so ... there's Many options is this Gauge like : Record, Warning Boost level , Peak , but the Disadvantage is That u can't go more than 2 Bar = 29 Psi It will stick on 2 Bar :s
But its a Lovely Gauge ,

I prefer bars over PSI...just makes more sense.

Actually it's 14.5 but not like it really makes a difference.
