New battery, still no power at ignition

My mini Odyssey battery died a while ago. On the last few times I tried starting the car with it the dash lights were turning on but when I went to crank, it would click once to three times with all dash lights staying off. No start. After two or three times like this, I went to try again but now nothing is powering up with key on. No dash lights, no fuel pump, no headlights, nothing. I even tried hooking up a full size battery from my truck that was starting up just fine but to no avail. I'm going to replace the 40a ignition fuse today because even though it looks fine there seems to be too much rattling going on inside.

I searched but didn't find anything on this situation. If there's anything else it could be let me know.

All fuses are good, all relays are good. Everything was working at the beginning of last week, it just looked like a dead battery. Now, absolutely nothing powers up when I turn the key. What could this be? I'm not very good at electrical troubleshooting.

So anyone know where this fusible link is? Is this even the case with these cars? The fuses at the positive terminal are fine.

Check your ground from your negative terminal to the car...I just had this same prob...bolt was a little loose causing it not to start...try tightening it up a bit....hope this helps

check all your electrical bolts, especially the one going into the starter. Possible the starter died too. Also, learn how to use the OHM or CONTINUITY function on your Multimeter, voltage can only tell you so much.

Starter was brand new, all fuses were good, I've used an OHM meter for many years so I was good on that. The car sat for 6 months and the positive terminal that connects to the batter was a little corroded and the 12mm nut that held the 3 leads together was just barely loose. After pulling apart the positive battery connection and cleaning and making sure the 12mm bolt holding them all together was tight it fired right up. Figured I would throw that out there for anyone else who comes across this thread with the same issue.
