should i bump?

I have a rockford t2 sub sitting in my basement and I am debating whether or not I should put it in my trunk. I had a sub in my old rsx and I loved it, but the sound of the evo is enough to keep me happy so far. I am not sure whether I should sell it or install it. The weight is also a concern, the sub is very heavy (I'd say at least 80lbs) and I don't want to slow my car down. I am just looking for some input on what you guys think and some examples of what you guys run in your cars too.

Thanks for the help!

this is my first post outside of my intro thread.

i threw subs in my car a week after i got it. i cant really feel the difference in weight.
around 60 +/- pounds doesnt really make a difference on the street.

i run an old 600w infinity and a beatup kicker c12. i can get a pic of my setup here in a sec

the only problem i ran into is the single box moves around alot so i found the perfect setup in there..like i said il ****** a pic in a second

Alright thanks a lot. I can't have stuff moving because I don't have a spare tire and the box will collapse the thin wood that covers it.

I say go for it. Subs make listening to music more enjoyable i think. Its nice to have that extra bit of bass that you wouldnt have otherwise.

Here's a thread about what I did with my sub. I love this box and I highly reccommend it to anyone with an Evo! I have a P3 so my sub probably isn't nearly as heavy as yours but it still sounds and hits really good. Check it out...

This sub doesn't give a little bit of bass it has titanium drivers and weighs close to a hundred pounds haha.
