That's what Russell at mitsu parts said.

Oh, ok cool. Great reference then! Did you order the part? If so, would you mind doing a write up or take some pics of the install? Thanks!

Sounds like we should start a donation going so I can do a write up for the community

I would love to guys, but unfortunately my job is bringing me in 7 days a week, and I have a list of other maintenance items that I need to do first. I promise to get a good clear write up as soon as I get to this issue though.

Ugh I'm having this exact issue too now. I wish someone had actually tried to fix it and posted. I'm going to get to the bottom of this and try to post a follow soon.

Sorry guys! This has been on my to do list forever and unfortunately I ran in to some very expensive repairs early this year, so I still have to wait. If/when I ever fix this issue I will be sure to post up something.

I'm having this same issue...if I get to it I might end up doing a write-up similar (but definitely shorter) than when I fixed all the HVAC stuff (see sig).

Hey everyone, I have no Idea how to post a new thread, and I don't actually own a EVO but my husband does. Yesterday when I was doing laundry his Key Fob was washed and dried. he bought his car used and only came with the ONE key fob. I know there is another piece that is SUPPOSED to go with it but we didn't get that either. SO I'm wondering, can I just buy a new one and program it? His car started this morning when he used the actual key. I've been trying to do some research but I've not found what I'm looking for. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

On the door actuator check O'Reilly they might have it in stock or can order it next day. I had the same problem when I had a civic and thats where I got it from and It was an easy fix.
