So this chick from work is trying to surprise my bud by buying him a new head unit(nobody is buying me parts wtf!) for his 350Z and asked me for advice on it.

I don't really know too much on 350Zs, let alone audio, but her limit is $500 with the one requirement being an auxilary output.

Any suggestions on good units, a screen would be cool I guess, but she didn't state whether or not it's necessary. Aiming for audio quality on this one.

 

350z uses the double din size decks. it also has a storage that is a size of a double din as well.

what i planned to do was a 2 double din screens way back when i had my 350z. one for the main deck and a second screen just for second output. but if the guy want to go high end, 500 bucks wouldnt be enough.

 

I had the eclipse AVN5500 in my 350z and I loved it. here is a pic

 

Most of the 350 or 370 guys end up using an Eclipse or an Avic. Check out sonicelectronics for some good deals. I always go through them and they've never done me wrong
