Analog is stereo only? It must have been quite the revelation during the quadraphonic era.

Our of sheer curiosity, with (literally) millions of titles available in 2-channel audio, can you tell us how many DVD-A (musical) recordings are on the market? I recall 8 music titles released last year. Very exciting, indeed.

5.1 = 5 speakers and a sub. Seeing how the discussion revolved around 4 speakers playing 2 channels, can you briefly explain how your failed attempt to get your own is relevant to this? Oh, wait. It must apply to the thousands of Evo owners who hacked up their dashes to install a center channel, only to play Layla in a synthesized ambient setting over and over and over. How about some pics of your system? Show us what we're missing by having more than 10 favorite records. <grin>

 

well i meant recorded with 5 seperate channels for music,not just 2 stereo channels duplicated for rear..i figured you woulda already known this,thats why i didnt elaborate,so to the number released last year...coudnt tell ya,i didnt purchase any,as i no longer have either of my 5.1 setups...
i'm running the "typical 4 channel setup" happy? but yes both 5.1systems were run in evos

i installed myself,programed myself(f1 stuff)figured it kinda related,maybe not..movin on

do you think i just listened to dvd audio...lol i havnt even mentioned the video(thousandsof movies)but to be honest,because i dont feel the need to exagerate like some,i usually just watched surf movies on the way to da beach,many were not 5.1 at all

Clearly you don't understand,and pretty much everything i've said thus far has been"technically, logically, and historically" correct...I know its astonishing.. please elaborate on all this wrong info im posting,or better yet why dont you just show all us dumb evo owners pictures of how we should set up our car audio...oh thats right you said this already but i forgot,you've been "unsuccessful"
