+1 I get the same complaints and I always tell my friends if they want peace and quiet ask someone else to drive them around! These cars are not made for a luxurious ride on the inside.

Personally I had the same problem and I switched to a quieter exhaust and hfc. If you don't want to do that, look into a varex muffler. My buddy has one on his STi and it seems to work pretty well. I personally think it sounds like crap and don't trust the window motor actuator mechanism.

Sounds like a quick and easy solution, will adding a resonator sacrifice any performance to the exhaust?

There's a ton of threads on here on how to quiet your exhaust without lots of restriction. It boils down to a good muffler in back and where the cat goes. Dynamat helps with general road noise, but not much for exhaust noise.

I'm still surprised this thread is still alive. I took JAC 06 MR's advice. If people complain, I tell them to stfu or gtfo lol. I appreciate all the suggestions btw!

This is a very common complaint. It's not surprising that folks are interested in a solution. Unfortunately, there are none short of replacing the exhaust, adding a lot of weight, or simply not caring.
