"LIG" pin on clock

I just got done changing my clock color to match the stock gauges. I was using a few different how-to's to get this accomplished but one of them talks about bending back the "lig" pin in order to stop the clock from dimming upon turning the lights on. This is the thread that talks about it, but the pictures don't work any longer:
https://www.evolutionm.net/forums/ev...ock-howto.html

I searched, but could find nothing that specifically indicated which pin on the clock to push back. I really don't want to break the clock so I figured I would check here to see if anyone could give me some detailed advice or post a picture of what the lig pin looks like. There's only three connectors that attatch to the actual clock (1 big one and 2 tiny ones), so I imagine it it one of them. Thanks in advance, it's much appreciated!

Erik

Here is the link to the thread on Socalevo. I knew it was something simple and it's as easy as bending the pin on the back of the clock harness that is labled illumination. If anyone has any question feel free to pm me, as I had a pretty successful interior color change of all the lights to match the stock gauages.

Can post pictures of what your new mod? I'd like to change my interior lights to match the cluster gauge. I'm wondering if taking out the bulb condoms would make the cluster brighter???

I sure can. I will try to take some pictures tomorrow. This dash looks unbelievable and it is how it should have come from the factory.

^ Did you take off the bulb covers in the gauge cluster? My cluster looks very dimmed compared to my gauges...

I did take off the bulb covers and painted the stock bulbs. I did a lot of research between LED's and painting to find out what would look the closests to stock. This includes brightness and in color. My goal was to have it look as close to stock as possible so the normal person would be under the impression that is how it came from the factory. If you are interested in doing this yourself I would suggest you follow this thread:
https://www.evolutionm.net/forums/ev...lots-pics.html

Like I said, the product he suggests will get the color exact to the stock gauges and at the same time the brightness is very close.

The HVAC, radio, and clock appear to be a little oranger than the gauges, but in person they are almost identical.
