I have a Evo 8 wing that the clear coat has been cracked/faded. Where the parts where there is no clear coat the actual carbon fiber has sun damage/ miss coloring. I dont think sanding will fix the discoloration to the actual carbon fiber. So i found a local wing for cheap with a good carbon fiber section. My question is i think that the spoiler i am about to get is off of an evo 9 because the rivits on the inside of the wing are hidden unlike my evo 8 wing which show the four rivits. I know you can take apart these wings and i was wondering if it was possible to take the center section of the evo 9 wing and replace it on my evo 8 wing?

 

As far as I know you should be able to interchange the parts.
