Orbital install (climate control portion)

Hello!
I've done my due diligence and searched on the forums... but it seems that all the pictured threads are out of date and no longer contain the photos.

It seems that most people cut the driver's side mounting bracket to accommodate the cables to control temperature and HVAC output... however it seems that people have installed it without doing the cutting. Is there an optimal way to route the cables? If so... please chime in! Thanks!

cutting seemed to be the best for my install. I cut a box about 2X3 out of the driver side and the cables fit really well and i have full movement of the knobs. good luck, i love the double din in Evos.

Thanks! Turns out the instructions actually recommend bending the metal support plate upwards to create clearance. I guess I'll have to pull it out and dremel it off too. Thanks and you got a pic of your install?
