Neeed Some HELP!!
hey guys i need a little exra brain power. I posted about this in the evo general section but im thinkin maybe ill get a few more hits in this specific area.
I just purchaced a new HKS type 0 turbo timer with the evo ix harness from HKS. the install went great and everything works as should.
My problem is when my timer times out my doors auto unlock as they do when you turn the key from on to off. This is annoying and i would like to find a way have my doors stay locked when the timer times out so i dont have to wait around and re-lock my doors.
If anyone has had similar problems or has heard of a fix id like to kno any help will be awesome thanks ,p

Theres a chance it may be the actual HKS unit, I run the same harness and had no problems.
This may be of use although its not IX specific

Sounds like you need a diode somewhere. Take a look at the wiring diagram for the power door locks and see where they get the signal to unlock. I bet there's a relay somewhere.
Have the exact same problem bud, but I have an A'pexi turbo timer.
When I take the key out of the ignition (car still running with turbo timer) and press the lock button on the fob the doors lock (indicators don't flash though) and then when the car shuts off the doors unlock.
So I have to press the lock button again and then the car locks successfully (indicators flash) and then its armed.
