shouldn't your viper alarm have its own turbo timer? it wont be as cool as a separate timer but hey..

i have the same darn problem, it sucks. Depending on where i am, i just wait the timer out or lock the doors with the button on the door and go about my biz

meh, my viper isnt setup to be a TT and my car came with a greddy one.. i just flip on the turbo timer when i pull in somewhere, lock the doors with the auto lock button inside and shut the doors.. my viper is set up to auto-lock after like 20 seconds of all doors being shut.

i hate it under every circumstance except this one. i can walk away with the doors locked and itll auto arm the viper 20 seconds after the TT shuts off

I got the Viper smart start VSS4000 and had it installed at Best Buy. The guy did a manual bypass so I didnt have to do some sequence before I get out of the car. I had him set up the timer too, this way I can keep a cleaner interior look and remove my Greddy TT.

No complaints and love this purchase. I am debating on getting the module for my windows and garage door installed too. I wish I could get the one for the trunk, but since the evo doesnt have a key release to begin with it can't be done.

heres what you do, unplug your turbo timer

news flash, we run water cooled turbos, your oil is not going to coke up. turbo timers are needed for non water cooled turbos only
