HOW TO: Astra 777 Car Alarm with Turbo Timer
This is a quick how-to to enable the Astra 777 car alarm's Ignition Armed Mode for use with a turbo timer. When the Ignition Armed Mode is enabled, the security system can be manually armed and disarmed while the ignition is on and engine is running. I also disabled the Ignition Door Unlocking function (unlocks the doors when ignition is turned off) as a preventative measure, but this is probably unnecessary.
I used a Greddy TT though I don't see why it wouldn't work with other timers. You should probably install the turbo timer first before programming the alarm so you can test it.
First of all, you need to enter the car alarm's System Programming. To do that,
For Step 4, press Button 1 to ENABLE, press Button 2 to DISABLE
ENABLE this option
Ignition Controlled Unlock - Step 3, press 5 times
For Step 4, press Button 1 for ALL DOORS, press Button 2 for DRIVER DOOR ONLY, press Button 3 for DISABLED
Probably unnecessary to DISABLE, as arming the alarm will automatically lock anyway. Like i said, i disabled it for preventative measures.
When you are finished, turn the ignition off to save the changes.
Last step is to test the turbo timer. Turn the car on, set your timer manually and turn the car off. The timer should be counting down with the engine still running. Exit the vehicle and set the alarm by pressing Button 1. The alarm should now engage. Once the timer turns the car off, verify that the alarm is still on and doors are locked.
If anyone needs a copy of the complete System Programming Options for the Astra 777, PM me and I'll send you the PDF.

First of all, you need to enter the car alarm's System Programming. To do that,
- 1. Turn On ignition (don't have to start the engine)
- 2. Within 5 seconds, press the Call button 5 times (also known as override or valet button, though it is label Call for this car alarm).
- 3. Press the Call button the number of times equal to the System Option you want to change. The siren will chirp each time you press it.
- 4. Within 5 seconds, press the remote transmitter button corresponding to the desired operating mode for that System Option.
