Replacing OEM HID Ballasts
#31
My personal thoughts were just that the ballasts put out a constant and specific voltage to keep the bulb life at a maximum. chances are soldering won't harm that but the resistance changes or a bad solder could also mean headaches down the road for why bulbs aren't lasting as long or something
personally i'd have just sent it back and bought another with the longer cable, but if unavailable then yea solder would really be the only option

One negative though, my yellow DRL bulb is out now. I guess it could have been before and I never noticed. Anyone know the part number for that?
