will this hood fit on an 8?

anyone know if this hood will fit on an evo8? it sees its for a 9 but how different are they?

Nice hood. I got lucky and got a seibon hood for $50 from someone that got rid of their evo

i was looking into this hood as well , but what to do when winter season comes. would the ignition system be drenched?..

ya but i dont drive mine in the winter or rain really, i have a forester i daily

I have a Seibon carbon fiber hood and it is cracked horribly from the two winters it went through. It is mainly cracked in the vent area. If you are going to be taking it through a winter I suggest installing your stock hood or looking into a dry carbon fiber hood.
