Exclamation Differrence in coolant temp sensor, what do the do?demand5" looking up some wiring

Alright, I am on "ondemand5" and I have been looking at the wiring diagrams. There are two coolant sensors on the neck, one that is a 1 prong, and one that is a two prong. I am pretty sure the 1 prong is used for the gauge, and the 2 prong is used for the ECU and idle, possible the radiator fan as well. Any info would be great!

Well, for anyone that did care to read this thread the single prong is for the gauge.

Issue the guy was having was a bad engine ground.
