I'm having MAJOR problems right now with this Evo I just bought.
My head lights do NOT turn on, My signals block every time I drive a certain distance, etc etc. Wires dont match. Its hell.

The kick panel wiring seems to be all rewired and from my research its due to that corrisive behavior becasue of the water that comes through that grommet.

For what ever reason though there are manyyy wires that are cut and going no where and obviously was hacked to ****. SO I need some help. Does anyone have a picture of the factory wiring in the kick panel? I am going to rewire this entire thing back to oem.

Any help will be appreciated. I want as many pics of the wiring in the kick panel and also possibly a wiring schematic or at least a verbal break down of how the head lights work. Neither my low or high beams work and headlight fuses and relays are in working condition.

 

I think the best think for you to do is to buy a new interior harness and start from scratch they are crazy cheap and you will not have to spend the time fixing other people mistakes its going to be very hard for us to help you with out being there.

 

+1 you be tracing wires forever. You can pick up a used harness for pretty cheap.

 

I mean that I understand but if I can just see how the wiring was stock I can put it back together. I'm pretty goo with my wiring. Its looks like they just cut the plugs off and wired them straight but missed a few plugs and wires. Complete nonsense.

I will get pictures etc later. In the mean time though could anyone be so kind as to point me in the direction of a few pictures of oem kick panel wiring. I've looked and looked lol and all the angles are terrible. I'm a big supporter of the search button

 

Cheak that firewall connection, i know there have been some serious issues with rain water getting in them and messing up wires. Id start there, if that looks good, then yea wirering harness lol in the end it would be quicker.
Dont feel bad the guy who owned my car before me Used wire nut connectors on the after market HID he put in LOL.

 

Which Evo is this for? If an actual JDM or EUDM model, I'll Email or send you a full workshop manual for cheap.
