Hi,

Recently I brought Ralliart FQ 400 (180MPH) speedometer as below:


Then fitted on my evolution 7, JDM (OEM speedometer in 180 KMH)

While driving, i.e speedometer showing 80MPH ( by actual speed is 80KMH i assume)

Appreciate any help to solve this? any PNP converter?

p/s: once solution is there thinking to sell my white Ralliart

I don't know exactly on the evos, but eclipses and other cars used to have a gear on the speed sensor in the transmission. You just unscrew the bolt holding down the sensor and the gear was attached to it. You would have to get the correct gearing. That is just a possibility you could look in to.

well ive used a kph and mph gauges in 2002, 2003 galants and never had any issues manual and auto , but my gauges has both displayed so i could still keep proper speed
