No power! Help!

So I was installing my new fuel pump , and when I got it all hooked up I go to start the car and all the power goes out as I turn the key. I think a fuse is blown but can't find any blown....any ideas?

Anything other than having a look myself would just be guessing, start with a volt meter and check for volts at the battery and main fuse box then the fuses inside the car. you'll find something that doesn't have power.

does the power come back when you return the key to the on position (not starting it).? If so, did you rewire the pump with a relay? Maybe you connected the relay to a circuit that disbles the voltage on crank? Just somethin to check with a voltmeter.

I'm sure you've already checked this, but could it be that you ran your battery down and that you just have a nearly dead battery? Either that or accidentally switched terminals on the battery?
