Lights/dimmer not working.

Well to make a long story short I was installing a new deck and grounded out the illumination wire. Now none of my parking lights work, my dimmer switch does not work and my hvac lights do not work. I checked all of my fuses and none of them are blown. I am not getting power to any of the parking lamp fuses. any help? maybe a wiring diagram? thanks.

i would check the fuses under the dash again & make sure no wire is exposed even if you're not using it, because maybe its shorting it out & make sure the dash illumination wire is grounded to the grounds wire

check the fuses under the hood, #20 and #21 if I remember correctly they are 7.5 amp fuses and control everything you are describing.

Did you just visually check the fuses? Or do a continuity check on them? Not sure if the USDM evo's share the same fuse boxes as the JDM ones, but if you look at the one under the dash, its the far bottom right fuse, a red 10amp, that was the one that blew when i had similar issues.

Dude i just went through this and it was a PITA!!! you fried some wires and are grounded somewhere. the wire that runs all those components is green/white. DO NOT, I REPEAT, DO NOT PUT A BIGGER FUSE IN!!!!!!! i had to remover the dash and trace the wires. the bad ground took out like 4 other wires too. i had to de-pin the wires and replace and solder in new wires. i recommend doing the same. trace the green/white wire starting at the cigarette lighter, through under the center console, up the middle of dash (behind cd player) and to the left behind the speedometer and down to the drivers kick panel. be sure to use a multimeter to keep checking for ground. disconnect the lower left harness connection in the lower kick panel to prevent false ground reading coming from the headlight. that wire is terrible to trace because it is wired to several components.

Sorry for the bad news and good luck!!
