Evo 8 click but no start
If I were you I would perform voltage drops on the circuit and see where voltage is being consumed. You should have 12v to the starter always. I know you say everything checks out, but something doesn't. I'd look into the wiring
I changed the starter, ignition switch, relocated battery to rear, added larger gauge ground wires, and cleaned all electrical connections. Problem ended up the apexi turbo timer. I also removed t-tap connections from the radio/gauges for a cleaner connection. Went straight to the fuse box coupled with a distribution block. Much cleaner.
Use a multimeter. What is your battery voltage when car is off? Are u getting 7 volts to the starter when keying on or while off? change the starter wire? With the car off I read 14.3 volts on the starter.

14 volts with the car off? I could see the battery with the car off putting out a little over 12 volts but you shouldn't be seeing 14 volts unless the car is running, like the alternator voltage would be 14 but the battery is at 14??? Seems weird to me. My battery is at 12.9 with the car off and reads 14.3 with the car running.
