Evo8 double-din brackets

I've just purchased an Evo8 MR and the previous owner installed a double din head unit with no brackets
Does anyone know where I can buy brackets so I can mount it properly?
All the threads I found are old and the links are no longer valid. I also asked Mitsubishi and they sold me brackets which don't seems to fit.
Any help would be much appreciated.

how do you install a double din with no brackets? how does it stay in place?

FWIW, I had to modify my brackets to get my headunit to fit, maybe that is what you need to do as well

the head unit is just leaning on the dashboard surround. See attached images.
The previous owner obviously didn't take much pride in his work.

I used this kit for my Pioneer AVIC 8200NEX. Quality of the brackets and surround is good and it fits perfectly.

I also have a Pioneer double din which I just got but it doesn't have any brackets, probably because I bought it used. Can I pick some up online specifically for the evo or do I have to somehow figure something out on my own?

There's a few how to's on here about the double din conversion. When I did mine I just modified the stock brackets which you should be able to find relatively easily.
