What's up guys? Sorry that this has to be my first post, but I've come to no other option. I've been searching up and down for 3 days now and can't figure this out.
I recently installed a Taylor battery relocation kit, and I got really confused and goofed up on the negative terminal wire. There was an odd aftermarket wire that really confused things. I ended up cutting the "ground wire" along with the negative terminal wire.
^ this is the wire
Once I realized that the wire should still be grounded, I simply put another end on it and regrounded it.
Now the car will not run. Seems like fuel is cut off. If I disconnect this front ground, all goes back to normal and the car runs perfectly fine. Everyone I've spoken with has insisted that this ground wire must be attached, does anyone have any clue why the car will not run with it connected? Can I simply tape off this wire and move along or will there be underlying issues? Any info really really helps, thank you guys a ton!
Here is the wire now (short and stubby) and where it's grounded, I've also attached it back to the original location with the same result, car does not run.
I just found this picture from before the install, I should add that I just got this car. I have no idea why it was wired like this but I would guess it has something to do with the current issue.
