2004 evo 8 MR working normal until i launched it hard for first time in awhile, when changing into 2nd gear, park brake light + battery check light + RPM gauge stopped working. Car still operated normally.
Park brake and battery light went off after a minute and the rpm was intermittent for a couple minutes.
Haven't been able to replicate the lights coming back on but when in boost and either changing gears or letting off the accelerator, the rpm gauge stops responding and then comes back on after like 30 seconds

Read a few forums with speedo/rpm gauge issues saying to check the earths and connectors into the cluster and found this on the board, looks like some of the solders are touching and bit of burn mark?


As for the lights coming on, it should be alternator/battery charge issue? or read one guys evo the belt slipped?
Could it have cause a power surge into my cluster causing the board short there?
