I have brake boosted 3-5 times successfully at stop lights, dig races, etc and had great success. Today, I went out in 80 degree F weather with the car fully warmed up on highway driving, and tried to brake boost a few times. I couldn't get it to do it once. I was using AUTO/Sport mode with traction off.

After quickly pumping the gas to 2.5k-4k RPM, and letting off the brake while applying WOT, the RPM's just shot up like i was revving the engine. 1st gear just wouldn't catch.

Could this be temp related?

Lulz, tough crowd on the weekends. Yea, as soon as I turned idiot mode off, it worked.

 

We're just giving you sh*t bro. With a transmission as expensive as ours it was just puzzling that you would want to risk it. With a few bolt ons, maybe a turbo upgrade and some good gas, your ride will have enough stomp and go to put a smile on your face, even without the clutch smoking brake boost.
