Is there a ground connecting to the transmission bell housing? I'm reading that there is supposed to be on there but I don't see any on my vehicle. Only grounds I saw in the area was one connecting to the side of the engine that was on the harness going down to the starter and one on the chassy on the driver side of the battery.

 

Yes should be at the upper rear engine to transmission bolt.

 

i thought it was closer to the front of the car, upper tranny bolt.

i think the ground wire comes out of the battery harness...
or atleast out of the engine harness.

 

Could someone post a picture of where it's at? Would be very very helpful.

Yea I have that one, and one next to the block that comes from the harness going down to the starter. I guess I'm assuming there might be one on top of transmission but when I took my alternator harness out there wasn't any ground for that.

 

the large ground wire that goes to the battery post is the only ground on the bell housing.
