MAF Connector repin help
So I recently found out that my MAF connector was throwing a code p2228 and I looked the maf connector and the farthest pin to the right was cut. I was wondering how do you repin it and take out the old one.
I can't seem to lift up the blue part to release the lock or if there even is one

I watched a bunch of youtube videos on the subject then went for it.
I dunno but does the 1st pic look maybe a touch melty and the 2nd pic is that hole normal? Hey wait, I got a harness right here, lemme look...so definitely yours is beat up and I think you gotta get those little grommet deals slid back to then separate the sections.

Hey man, thanks for the reply. The first pic is just some dirt and electrical tape that was left over. The last owner tried to just tape it up and I discovered it. But its not melted. The second pic is after me trying to lift up the blue part and it wasn't budging so I gave up on it that's why its "beat up". What do you mean by the grommet deals, can you take my picture and circle it, thanks!

They aren't showing on your pic but here
That's a little rubber grommet seal thing around the wire, gotta get em slid back to split plug sections

Just tried it out, didn't end up so good. Just gonna order a new pigtail and call it a day. I'm fairly certain that there is a "lock", I've done the O2 Sensor plug and Coil Pack plug before and they both have a "lock". Thanks for your efforts still!
