Hi,

i have an evo7 and the wipers when pressed stop at different areas of the windscreen ie the passenger side or in the middle of the windshield but alter a few presses of the stalk tit eventually gets back to the proper resting position.

Is it the stalk thats busted or should i be looking at something else?

 

Im having the same issue with my 8. It doesn't happen always but same issue, stops in the middle or wherever it wants. I can physically move the wipers to the park position so seems linkage is all good. I found a wiring diagram and it seems the "front ecu" controls the park function. I could be wrong tho, but i havent had time to dig into the car.
