My Evo GT-A's blend door actuator went so we ordered a 7 acuator that looks identical but it moves too far so it won't retract when you turn the heat all the way down or its vice versa. Anyone have any idea?

Being that this is mostly a US based forum, you will probably struggle to get answers on things specific to cars we didn't get in the states. Might be worth checking out lancer register as that seems to be a more global user base.

Now that said, did you compare the new and old actuator? Considering that Mitsubishi used the same HVAC system bits through the base model lancers and into the evos, it seems unlikely that the evo 7 one doesn't work. I would see if you can find any documentation on how to "calibrate" or "adjust" the actuator because to me this seems more likely to be the root of the issue. Again, I am just guessing here so all of this might be useless as well lol.
