Alternator wiring

I’m

Just did a full rewire on a 2003 evo. It’s running a Holley dominator ecu. It’s not charging. I have pin 2 connected to the main battery connection at the front and pin 3 connected to the ignition one switch for the fuse panel. I assume I need to connect pin 4 but I’m not sure what it needs? Is it a steady 5 volts or is it variable from the ecu?
I figured it out. I didn’t have the fuse in for the main battery wire from the alternator
