Won’t start

I was working on installing an odyssey mini battery on our Evo 8 and dun f’ed up. The terminals are “backwards” in relation to the label on the battery. In my rush to get it in and start her up I placed the battery in with the label facing forward and proceeded to hook it up, reversed. The fusable link blew the 100 amp side and the brights turned on with a high pitch whine. It took a sec to see what the problem was as the +/- are embossed but not as visible with the terminals attached.

Trust me, I know I f’ed up, now I need to trouble shoot why the car won’t start.

here are the things I’ve done:
- replaced the fusabke link
- test all fuses and relays in the engine - compartment fuse boxes and the passenger compartment (left knee drivers side kick panel)

Symptoms:
- starter motor will crank and the engine turns over but won’t run.
- radio doesn’t work

lights do work, blower works, windows work, locks work, wipers work

what would you check next (and how if not obvious)?

I'm so pissed at myself but am determined to fix it

Have you checked for fuel and spark yet?
Can you hear the fuel pump prime?

I would be worried about about the ECU possibly being hurt so I'd start checking to see what piece is missing for it to fire.
