I use nothing. The I/C sprayer thingy adds no power that I can tell. Maybe it's just me, but mine is useless. I leave it drained for *cough cough* weight reduction...

I don't understand people putting antifreeze/coolant but I heard about it out there so I added a choice. And people actualy ue it?!?!?!

Solvent seems to be the juice of choice, especialy in the colder areas. Water is the simple choice. I guess that there is no right or wrong solution. I will have to switch from water with ice on race day to windshield solvent with ice to get the increased cooling benifits.

Thanks for your opinions guys (and that one chick from ebaum).

I pack mine full of ice & water at the track, then use windsheild solvent for the nice Chicago winters! If you have your resevoir full of water when the winter comes, there is a good chance that it could freeze and expand to the point where it may break your resevoir/lines etc.

rubbing alcohol and water.. one bottle of the alcohol to one water dilutes to about 35% to redued fire hazzard and to go easier on the aluminum. I really haven't felt any difference using or not using the spray. I plan to use the tank for methonol and water injection pretty soon or it would already be on my garage floor.

CarPhoto is 100% correct, the makeup of windshield washer fluid will chemically disperse heat faster. Nickel and dime my @ss! During a hot summer day, it definitely helps things keep cool. Pour some water onto your hand, feel the effect. Pour washer fluid onto it, feel the differnce of that.

If my hand was an intercooler, that might make sense.

Why not just use Gatorade?

Thank you feldguy for taking the time to do a search on my previous postread which enabled you to understanding my previous argument.

Most people with All-motor cars know the advantage they have in hot weather and use it against turbo cars.

When summer comes back you should at least learn to use the button, maintain and fill the tank in optimal fashion.

My sources are in the previous post about this subject.

Since I have had my car almost 1 1/2 years I think I used the intercooler sprayer for the first 2 months.

Winshield washer fluid is the best thing you can use, being a mix of distilled water and methanol. Do not use tap water, or the resulting mineral precipitant will eventually ruin the system.

That's why I did the poll. I have heard whispers in here about using antifreeze and I wanted to see for sure. So I guess some people use it. **** Don't tell the EPA ****.
