Question Intercooler Spray Juice

What are people using to fill thier intercooler sprayer for days to day use. Yes, I know we all fill it with ice on track days but what about fo cruising on friday night. I have heard pro and con for all types of juice....

Yeah there's another thread on this. Since I live in CA, I use distilled water. If I lived in a colder region, then I'd probably use windshield washer fluid.

Coolant was a choice? Wouldn't that make it discolor, smell, and make a mess?

Use what the manual says Windshield washer fluid plus it has alcohol added to it. It has been shown that it reduces temp's better than just water plus come it's cheap only like $1.25 for a gallon and it will last you a couple of weeks with spirited driving every once in a while.

I use washer fluid. one of the members on here had some kinda of mathmatical equation that proves that, washer fluid ((water/meth,alchol)) disperses heat faster the just plain distilled water. you'll have to search to find it, but it seem to be a pretty good post.

Living in the frozen northeast I have always used windshield washer fluid, much lower freezing point.

I did a post about this subject called, "intercooler sprayer science by CarPhoto.net".
I was flammed by members and was told, " i am looking for nickle and dime horsepower". Since then this topic has never been explored very well. NX makes an intercooler sprayer for extreme cooling but this has been flammed because the intake ingest some NOZ. Hope this helps!

if you are just going out cruising , why not use a little cologne.

I was going to put a little vinegar in there too, you know, oil and vinegar ... for heaven sakes man it also washes the windows.
