ACT or RRE clutch.

I have just spent the last two days reading all the posts on the clutch comparisions. Here we go. If you could only get the RRE No Name Clutch or the ACT 2900 clutch which would it be. Car has 324 awhp???

Thanks guys

Tony

I'd probably get the RRE. That's a tough call though since they are both good clutches.

Well...

From what I understand anything under 350-400 whp a twin disk is overkill. All I am going to do is add cams and then I am done with the car. I don't want to spend 1300 bucks on a twin if a single would be ok.

I got the RRE No Name installed by RRE and its great. After break in it feels perfectly normal and holds great. I can't speak for the ACT, but you wont be disappointed with the RRE.

my buddy has a rre clutch in his evo and has 345whp. he also has an act in his 1g talon that has about 370 whp and both are great. tough call, but for warranty purposes i'd go with the rre.
