What upper intercooler pipes work with the stock intake/air box?

They make cheap stuff. I had it on a dsm and it started to look like $hit real quick. I would sugg. to stay away from them.

Back on subject I don't think many do. You may have a hard time. Check with RnR or Buschur. I know you need a smaller battery, but there piping is so short I can't see how it would cause a problem. Not sure I would pm them or give them a call.

 

Does RNR make one? I don't see it on their site...

It needs to fit with the stock battery too.

I have the Buschur one now, and I can tell you it does not work with stock air box or stock battery.

HKS makes one that meets your requirements. Helix is coming out w/ a set soon that will work w/ the stock battery and stock intake.

 

An additional criterium should be added to this, that being "reasonably priced". So far, Dejon Tool is the winner, hands down. I cannot however vouch for the quality of the product, not having seen it first hand.

 

I've had Dejon Tool parts on both my DSMs. IMO, the quality is just mediocre. The parts are built from mild steel and MIG welded together. Some of the welds are grinded down flush with the surface before it gets powdercoated. I'm not a big fan of mild steel parts since the OE parts were aluminum. To me, this is like "downgrading" in material. MIG welds are never as pretty as TIG welds either.

 

That is certainly worth noting. I assume it's aluminized steel (e.g. exhaust shop stock)??

 

Buschur, worth every penny . Dejon doesn't even compare to the craftsmanship and quality to the Buschur.
