I run Denso IW24 gapped at .028 inches. I dont have a lot of mods per say, but I think of it as a small insurance policy. Those plugs are expensive (~ $50 if I recall), but worth it, especially if you are planning on turning up the boost even by a few pounds. I also replaced the spark wires with some Magnecor 8.5 wires.

On average it did cut down on my knock readings running 93 octane.

Went from stock NGK to Denso IW24 and back to same NGK stock that came with the car.

The stock NGK (used) seems to be better. The Denso IW24 were shorter than the stock so I believe the flame front was not as center as the the stock one. Once Denso makes a plug for the Evo8, it might be better than the IW24.

try the Denso IW01-24. They are the same plugs that Ralliart sells for the EVO. I have some pics of these plugs before I put them in my car that I'll try to post later today.

For now goto this page:

I bought Ralliart RAY66001 heat range 7 that was built for street and road use. They were made by NGK and I think that is the same plug as BPR7EIX. In my opinion try the NGK because the Ralliart company would not put its name on a crap spark plug.
