WORKS prides itself in making sure these details are not only in place, but fully functioning when you need it. Our water injection kit has a number of features to give you peace of mind in the heat of the moment (no pun intended

I was just looking at the buschur site and it looks like they finally got their kit out. Below is the link and the price is not bad.

I intend on keeping the IC sprayer, but the configuration of the Bushur unit is unclear. What reservoir are you using for the WI?

Hey guys, The injection kit does replace the original FMIC sprayer bottle with our own to use with the kit. However the FMIC sprayer can not be used once the kit is installed with the new bottle.

Jarod, can you tie this unit to one of the switches of the AEM? I really want it to control the Injection so if it runs out it can pull a certian amought of timing and add a certian amout of fuel for safety. Please let me know if you have a solution on this kit or if it is in the works.Originally Posted by Jrod@Buschur

Thanks in advance.

Jrod, I would also like to know this. Also, what safety features does the kit have built-in?Originally Posted by GTVEVO

a alcy kit is great as long as it has safety features not to spray or leak at low rpms. id like to know about the features as well! ive been kooking at kits for a year now. what psi does it start to spray at? what kind of nossle does it use? the nossle is almost the most important parts... ive heard that the kits that use NOS nossles are the ones with the problems. hopfully this kits usses the higher strength ones.
p.s. for anyone that wants to retain the ic sprayer: this would gain much more of a benefit that the ic sprayer... the ic spray gains nearly nothing and is mearly a gimic. the ic sprayer is meant to help out with intake temps for longer racing events where the stock ic gets heat soaked(it doesnt do a thing for quick races) and the alky injector not only kills knock, it lowers the intake temps ALOT more and lowers the cylinder pressure temps greatly. dont give up the alky kit for the stupid ic sprayer, it goes beyond what its capable of.

It isn't so much that the IC sprayer is especially valuable as it is some don't want their cars to become hack jobs by having disabled features, factory switches that originally did something that now do something else or even nothing, etc.
It can be done while retaining the IC sprayer.

I'm more concerned with the low capacity of the IC sprayer bottle. Having to constantly have to worry about running out of gas is bad enough...

Actually there are many, many new features we are incorporating. We have been programming the safety parameters weekly for the past 6 months. It is very technical and involved as we are testing 7 different water/alcohol jet sizes with 3 different injector sizes with a multitude of duty cycles to provide the safest most bullet proof system specfically for the EVO VII and EVO VIII. It is so technically detailed, we will be running different WORKS controllers depending on voltage sweep buffering and safety switching windows of operation. Don't be fooled by cheap fuel pumps pushing water or alcohol into your motor in an uncontrolled unsafe fashion. Originally Posted by Az3ar

We have been requested to design the WORKS Water Injection system not just for the U.S. but for all the EVO VIIs and VIIIs in the international market. We have to get it right as the world will be watching!

Someone posted a 90min logged chart for water injection effect - interesting results.
